It seems very sad that you would ask a question like this, since Christianity's message is one of love. Historically Jesus was Jewish; that would have meant hating himself, his parents, his family, and most of his friends and neighbors. So I for one have a hard time believing that. But if you believe he had human emotions, then I think he would have felt pain and anguish about the oppression that the people were suffering under Roman rule. Rome was so powerful there was almost no place in the ancient world at the time that one could escape its influence. And the influence was one of paganism, political aggression and other philosophies that were directly contradictory to the teachings that he grew up with. Roman rule had disrupted, if not corrupted, the way the people lived, how they worshipped, even the holy Temple. So if anything he may have been torn spiritually about what had happened to his own people and the helplessness they must have felt. Remember, it was only about 30 years after Jesus died that the population finally tried to rebel against Roman rule, and Rome answered by destroying the holy Temple, Jerusalem, and carting off most of the holy relics to Rome to be melted down as nothing more than loot. That should provide some powerful evidence of the conditions at the time. But hate? I hope not.

First of , Most of the Jews I know, including myself, are atheists. And respect Jesus as a good man who had good ideas, but was not related to god in any way.

Second, Jesus was born a Jew, and was a Jew for all his life. He celebrated Jewish holidays and attended synagogue. This is a FACT it has been proven, there is no way around it

Third, Jews are not a heartless cult as you seem to think. They are not even a race. Every color and creed has been Jewish at one point.

Fourth, Surveys have proven that only 1/4 of Jews are necessarily devoted to the religion. And Jews are in very short supply if you will to begin with.

Fifth, It was the Roman Empire who executed Jesus because of his ability to speak well, and his charisma. They believed he was a threat to society. The Roman empire was Jewish at the time, but as I already said, pretty much Every race has been.

So unlike you seem to think, the entire Jewish community does not hate Jesus, for any reason.

Answer

Jesus plays no role in Judaism and doesn't enter the thoughts of the majority of Jews (religious or otherwise) unless he is mentioned to us. There's no reason to hate Jesus and never has been.

Answer 1

In the case of Judaism "Jews for Jesus" does not make any sense. "Jews for Jesus" are pretty much Christians. I say this for a lot of reasons, but here's the short answer: Jews believe in God exclusively. Christians believe in the Hebrew God as well as Jesus, which is what makes them Christians instead of Jews. Therefore if a Jew believes is Christ he is now a Christian.

But as for your answer; no, Jews do not hate Christians, nor Muslims, nor any other religion. In fact, in Judaism non-Jews go to heaven; all they have to follow is the seven Noahide commandments which are more or less no-brainers (don't murder, do not commit incest, etc.).

Answer 2

If you are referring to the Christian evangelical organization: Jews for Jesus, Jews do not have the warmest feelings for these people. It is similar to (although stronger than) Jewish feelings towards the approach taken by the Christan evangelical organization: the Joshua Project. Jews, while more than willing to have Christian friends and live among Christians (see Answer 1 above), they are supremely disinterested in being Christians themselves for the most part (excluding the occasional convert). What makes "Jews for Jesus" receive such negativity is how they lure Jews by pretending to be Jewish and interested in Jewish ritual in order to "sneak them over to Christianity". If Jews would wish to convert, they are well aware of how to do that; but they find the trickery involved in "Jews for Jesus" to be underhanded.

No. Anyone who says that it does is either terribly misinformed,

or else is deliberately trying to mislead you. Judaism says very

little about Jesus.

Why do the Jews hate the Son of God?

Jews do not hate Jesus, he plays no role in our beliefs. The only time we might discuss Jesus is when non-Jews ask us what our beliefs are about him. To clarify, he may or may not have existed. If he did, based on the Christian Bible, he wouldn't have qualified as a moshiach of any kind.

Why do people hate the Jews when it was the Italians who killed the Rabbi Jesus?

The Jews are blamed for the death of Jesus because it was the Jewish religious leaders who manipulated Herod and Pilate into crucifying Jesus by charging Jesus with breaking certain Jewish laws making him worthy of death. The Romans would have rather released Jesus that day and crucified Barabbas. But the Jewish mobs at the behest of the Jewish leaders clamored for the release of Barabbas and the crucifixion of Jesus.
