No, they do not.

Mormons wear Temple Garments not magic underwear. There isn't one bit of magic to Temple Garments. Temple Garments are more like a physical reminder of covenants, or promises that Mormons make to God. They also provide protection. Although that depends on the wearer if they believe that claim is physical or spiritual or perhaps even both.

No.

Practicing adult members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) may choose to participate in a sacred Temple ceremony in which they are annointed and clothed in a sacred garment as a symbol of their faith and commitment to God. This garment is often mocked by anti-Mormons and called 'magic underwear', but it has no magical or mystical powers, it is simply a symbol. Mormons believe that the ceremony and the garment are similar to one described in the Old Testament (see, for example, Leviticus 16:4 and Exodus 28:40-42).

The garment is worn by faithful Mormon adults under the clothing as a symbol and reminder of their commitment to God. It does not resemble 'panties' at all. Since Mormons believe that it is sacred, they are very offended when it is mocked or spoken of lightly, as well as when it is exposed to the view of the public.
