A tsunami would have a significant effect on the part of the United States where it occurred - or, rather, which was inundated by it. However, in recent history none of the USA has been directly affected by a tsunami.
Most tsunamis occur in the Pacific Ocean or Indian ocean due to the major subduction zones in and bordering these regions. The US does have territories in the Pacific - including the state of Hawaii. Hawaii, in fact, was hit by a tsunami just a few centuries, ago - although not one as bad was struck Indonesia just a few years ago.
Indirectly, a tsunami might have an effect on the US by harming one of its trade partners - and thus decreasing the supply of trade from that country. This could drive up prices of items that typically come from that country, whether food, raw materials (iron, wood, etc), or finished products (cameras, toys, TVs, etc).
The 2011 Japan Tsunami did not affect Pakistan in any way.
the effect of a tsunami on life
no
The effect we now call tsunami has been happening since there have been oceans on the planet Earth (billions of years). There was no "First Tsunami"; the Japanese have been calling the effect 'tsunami' for many centuries.
It is unknown what places will be affected by the next mega tsunami.

Whatever it was before it hit, a tsunami has no effect on climate.
No. A tsunami is a massive surge of water. Wind is not involved at all.
In Grand Theft Auto IV, you can trigger a tsunami-like effect by using cheat codes or modifications. While there isn't a specific "tsunami" cheat, you can use the "water" cheat to raise the water level dramatically. Additionally, using mods available from the gaming community can create a realistic tsunami effect. Always remember to back up your game files before applying any mods.
