No real AI means it can teach itself. Meaning they can build other robots and think of better designs and learn from failures. Only precoded software exists which seems like AI. AI is like on the movie AI where they absorb information and are nearly human.
It will be a long time until real AI exists
Of course it is. Artificial Intelligence already exists and has existed for decades. What doesn't exist is the "thinking" machine; a machine that can imitate human thought to the extent that a human observer doesn't know whether they are questioning a machine or a human. However, intelligence comes in many forms. The Honda Asimo project is highly advanced and although the machine's don't "think" as we do, there are still highly-complex thought processes going on. Without them, it would be impossible for a bi-pedal machine to run, for instance.
No, we do not know a lot about AI. For knowing about AI, we have to go deeper into brain learning.

International Journal on Artificial Intelligence Tools was created in 1992.
The artificial passenger is a type of artificial intelligence. Artificial Intelligence is defined by Webster's as: 1 : a branch of computer science dealing with the simulation of intelligent behavior in computers 2 : the capability of a machine to imitate intelligent human behavior. From that we can tell that any program that can strike up a conversation with a human (such as the artificial passenger) would be artificial intelligence. However, other things may also be considered artificial intelligence such as a computer that could make decisions for the government.
In the 1940s, a programmable computer was produced that was said to have artificial intelligence. It did not have intelligence in the common sense of the word, though. There has yet to be a device created that has intelligence matching to that of a human being.
John McCarthy coined the term Artificial Intelligence ( AI ) in the year 1955
As nobody has actually created true artificial intelligence, we don't really know.
Journal of Artificial Intelligence Research was created in 1993.
A.I. Artificial Intelligence - album - was created in 2001.
A.I. Artificial Intelligence was created on 2001-06-29.
Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence was created in 1979.
Electronic Transactions on Artificial Intelligence was created in 1997.
Artificial Intelligence II was created on 1994-05-30.
A lot! It, of course, all depends on what type of artifcial intelligence, and what it is used for, but the more extremes of size (bigger or smaller) it is, the more it costs.

i dont know hahahA :D
Artificial Intelligence is set up through a series of algorithms. By definition, if it can make decisions for its self and it isn't biological, it's artificial intelligence. Therefore, the current artificial intelligence, also known as UAI (Unrefined Artificial Intelligence) works throught If and Then statements in programing. If this thing happens then do this. This allows to let the program think for its self on a basic level. However, if I wanted to make RAI (Refined Artificial Intelligence), this would be a lot harder. So hard, that it has been researched for multiple years and there is no answer to it yet. You could either create a program with over an octillion if and then statements, or you could create a program that resembles the human mind.
