Sugar-not that good for you in large amounts Caffeine-ditto, makes you jumpy Calories-again, too many are not good Drinking too much sprite could mean you're drinking it instead of water, but you still need lots of water.
You really shouldn't be. Then again liquids can have plenty of calories too. Eating little but drinking sodas for instance could let you gain weight for instance.
Yes, you can also die by drinking too much water.
Of course you can. You can gain a pound if you consume 3,500 calories. Now, if you accumalate that amount by beverages its very possible. Remember that beverages that are loaded with carbohydrates and sugar have a higher percentage of being high on calories. Carbs turn into sugar and sugar turns into fat.
HAHA i dont think so. Drinking too much water doesn't give you gas but overdoing the water drinking can cause drowning yourself.
If you gain muscle while exercising, you can gain weight, otherwise it is pretty hard to, unless you are eating too much fatty foods or too many calories.
Too many. Soft drinks are garbage. There are 100 calories in a serving size of 8 oz/240 g which is about 2/3 of a can. A whole can of Pepsi has about 135 calories. Don't drink the stuff, drink water instead and at the end of a year, if you drank a glass of water once a day instead of a can of pepsi, you will have saved yourself from drinking the equivalent of about 5 bags of sugar (which would cause you to gain about 10 pounds of fat in a year)
drinking too much water is dangerous because all this water is absorbed and as it is taken out of the system it carries useful nutrients and minerals, mainly salts, along.
What? No!
It is a matter of degree. For example, if you consistently consumed too few calories you would lose weight. If you consistently consumed too many calories, you could gain weight.
Yes, drinking cold water will burn a small number of Calories. If you drink water at body temperature, you will neither gain nor lose calories. However, if you drink cold water, your body will burn calories warming up the water. First it is important to note the difference between a calorie and a Calorie. By definition a calorie is the amount of heat required to raise the temperature of one gram of water by one degree Celsius at one atmosphere pressure. What we commonly call a Calorie (with a big C) is actually a kilocalorie, or 1000 little calories. Since body temperature is 37.5 degrees Celsius and there are apx 997 grams of water in a liter, we burn about 37,000 calories (37 Calories) for every liter of almost freezing ice water we drink. If we drink the recommended 8 cups/2 liters of water per day, 74 calories isn't much when compared to a 2000 Calorie a day diet, but over a year that adds up to around 27,000 Calories burned just by drinking your water ice cold instead of warm!
Fat has a lot of calories. If you reguarly eat more calories than you use up, you will gain weight.
