Yes - even minor edits all add up to your overall contributions total. They don't add to your trust points total though. Only other contributors can do that - if they find your work worthy of recognition.

Click on either 'Edit answer' on the blue side menu or the 'Improve Answer' button underneath the question. Make your minor adjustments then click on the 'Mark this as a minor edit' box to the right of the answer before you 'Save' the change.

You can get trust points on WikiAnswers by making many helpful edits and doing your best to make WikiAnswers a great Q&A site. When people see an answer you posted on a question, they have the option to "Recommend" you. When they do this, you receive a trust point.To earn trust point you have to answer questions. If the asker thinks your answer is good they will give you a trust point. Not all askers give trust points though. Good luck and keep answering!

I believe you can delete an entire answer. Of course, it will never be deleted permenantly; any edits to the question or answer are logged in the history.
Removing an answer does not count towards your editing answers mission.Answer Edits and Minor Edits count towards this mission.You can see what counts towards a particular mission by filtering your contributions to show a particular action.You can do this by clicking on "My contributions" on the blue menu and then choosing the appropriate action from the drop down menu. If you select "Answers (edited)" you will see that only changes and minor changes are recorded there.
