If you care passionately about any subject (not just racism) you will get short term stressed as you attempt to put your view forward. Some times, stress is necessary to get the best out of your argument - it may get your brain and thoughts working quicker!. Long term stress is not a good thing, and you should stop and take stock - do you really need to be always stressed out?

Stress is the force applied to a resistrant material (say a steel bar). Strain is the deformation (bend) that the resistant material changes in shape as a result of the stress.
