Qur'an says (meaning English translation):
" And it is He who accepts repentance from his servants and pardons misdeeds, and He knows what you do." (42:25)
and says:
" But those who committed misdeeds (or sins) and then repented after them and believed - indeed your Lord (Allah or God), thereafter, is Forgiving and Merciful." (7:153)
Answer 3 (Judaism perspective)
Jewish tradition states that there is punishment after death for those who deserve it (Talmud, Rosh Hashanah 17a). This has two major limitations, however. One is that repentance is very important in God's eyes. It has a great effect and, if sufficient, can erase the sin altogether. The other limitation is that what the Question calls going to hell can be for any length of time - even for a few seconds or minutes in some cases.
Yes you go to Hell it is a sin to kill yourself if you are a child of God then the urge to kill yourself shold not be there. Again it is a sin and so stated in the Bible.
Firstly life isgods gift, not meant to be ended by suicide. It takes courage to commit suicide , but only cowards commit suicide, do not throw this life so easily . God gives life and god takes life. Those who commit suicide will go to hell.
yeah if you believe in hell. its definitely a sin ... so yeah you'll burn in hell for all. ANSWER: No silly you will not, but God will be disappointed for what you did. Do you know what it says in the bible, on Matthew. God has his own way of teaching us when we commit sin, we will be punish. The only one that you need to worry is your wife, how she can handle this betrayal.
Sloth is indeed one of the seven deadly sins. In classic Catholic terminology, serious sin is called mortal sin, because it caused death of the soul, and it only requires one mortal or serious sin to completely kill the life of the spirit in the soul. So, yes, serious sloth is more than enough to go to hell.
Yes you will as you will then commit adultery as the wives will be living.
I think the ultimate sin that we as Christians commit is Worry.
Catholics believe that if you die in the state of mortal sin, then you go to hell.
Yes, definitely
You can commit an unforgivable sin and then turn your life around. See what led you to this sin, and try not to go down that path again. Just try to do good, and be good, and you can turn your life around.
The penalty of sin is the memory of sin. but if you havent accepted the Lord into yoru heart then you will go to hell whether you sin or not, if you have accepted the Lord and you ARE Christian then you can go to heaven. but that doesnt mean that you can accept the lord and sin all the time. If you sin all the time then do you think that the Lord will be happy? (answer that yoruself) there isn't a "power" to sin PERSE. but i think that the power of sin will be sending you to hell or upseting God.
The reason does not matter, you will go to hell if you commit suicide. That is if you believe in hell or heaven, that's just the Church's rules.
As put, this is not biblical.
