I dont thnk mushy but softer then normal because ur,gums r imflamed and r bleeding. if u go to Google images or YouTube, I would see how the gum decays and how teeth fall out because the gum is getting weaker but mushy? I dont think so and im not sure if ur talking like a MASH potato mushy or a apple getting mushed down.
