Theoretically you do have the right, unless it is noted in the divorce. However, think twice about it if the boys are young--do you want them to be exposed to sex outside of marriage? Although you are not married to their mother, you are co-parenting and, in a personal sense, her opinion matters. You have a long way to go in raising these boys and this is one of many dilemmas for parents who have divorced--the difference between the letter of the law and what is right is often a long ways.

Child support and visitation are two separate issues. The father has the right to request a visitation schedule with his child. Visitation is not dependent on paying child support.

Can a 14 year old living in NC decide she doesn't want to visit a parent on assigned weekends?

Assuming the parent has court-ordered visitation, no she can't. If there is a legitimate reason the child does not want to visit the parent, the custodial parent can petition the court to revise the visitation order. Be aware the court will not deny a parent the right to visitation without a very good reason, nor will they look kindly on a custodial parent who request it without a very good reason.

Can you stop your child from seeing the other parent if you cant get and address from them?

Go to the court of jurisdiction and file an emergency injunction temporarily stopping visitation rights based on the same. It is your right to know exactly where your child will be staying during visitation and if the location is unsuitable, it is also your right to request visitation modification based on the same including termination of visitation or supervised visitation.

Does a step parent have the legal right to refuse visitation if under false allegations from step children?

I assume it's not the step parent that is granted visitation. This is something the step parent and spouse have to work out since it's the spouse who has asked for visitation and therefor it's her responsibility to make it work. If the step parent own the house he can choose who's in it and who is not and same goes for the spouse if she owns it. The step parent have no authority over the visitation order.

Will the courts give visitation when a father pays child support?

Not automatically, but the father certainly has a right to move for visitation and, ordinarily, it should be granted.
