Holiday insurance will cover a wide range of illnesses including viruses, infections, accidents and tropical diseases. It might not cover existing illnesses and conditions though.
I would assume that you could only get insurance if you agreed not to make a claim for your existing condition so you are only covered for all other illnesses.
Existing insurance
No. Homeowners insurance does not cover un-repaired, pre-existing conditions.
Yes
No. If the insurance can find proof that you were already having Cancer at the time when the policy was taken and you deliberately hid the information, they can cancel your policy. Most insurance policies do not cover pre-existing illnesses. However, if the disease was genuinely diagnosed only after the policy was in force, then they cannot cancel it.
I need a little more information. What kind of insurance and what kind of pre-existing condition?
A pre existing limitation is a medical condition that prevents you from receiving health benefits or insurance benefits. Insurance companies consider this before granting insurance or benefits.
Your plans to have surgery will not affect your ability to get coverage. But don't expect the policy to cover the procedure. Most policies will exclude pre-existing conditions for a specified period of time. You will be covered for accidents and illnesses that cause you to miss work that were not pre-existing at time of application.
Just like any other condition. It is pre-existing if it was diagnosed prior to applying for the insurance.
