In most cars the pump can be replaced by simply taking out the back seat. There is usually a large rubber or plastic cover. Pull this out and you should see the top of the tank. Make sure to open the gas cap to vent the pressure or you will have gas spew in your face and inside the vehicle. Hope this helps some.
