Most likely, you will have to pay for the Droid Bionic even if you upgrade. However, it will be a lot cheaper if you are extending your contract than if you buy it outright.

I think that any iphone is better the droid because i think that Verizon copied off of the iphone. Also it costs less money and it is just as good as the droid(better). Ok, just saying, but a phone service carrier cannot "copy" a phone manufactuer. Second of all, my first smartphone was an android, and all you have to do is play around with it a bit. IPhones are the new cool thing, but for battery life, screen size, speed, and durability -- iPhone screens crack easily -- go for a newer droid. As for price, you get what you pay for.
