I have the Chilton manual for this vehicle and it appears as though you will need to disassemble the dash to get to the heater core. Before you do this, make sure you disconnect the hoses on the engine side of the firewall and try to blow out as much of the remaining coolant to avoid spilling on the interior later during removal.
The duct will have to be removed from the vehicle so whatever it takes to get there on your car will have to be done to get to the heater core itself.
There is no such thing as a 1997 dodge saturn! Try again.
The heater core, in a Saturn and 1200, is held in place by four bolts and two water hoses. Remove the bolts and the water hoses. The heater core will come out. Reverse the process to install the new heater core.
Unfortunately, there is no "easy" way to change the heater core. The entire dash board has to come out. then it's easy. Then you have to put the dash back in. Sorry :(
the heater core is behind the dash board
The 1996 GMC half ton pickup truck heater core can be removed by removing the heater core retaining bolts. Remove the heater core water lines. Reverse the process to install the new heater core.
Heater core has failed.
just taking a shot in the dark but is that supposed to read where is the heater core really located on the 1996 Pontiac sunfire??if so its located under the dash of the car, towards the floor board behind the heat exchanger box..if you are asking where the heater core relay is ,,well there is no such thing so need to ask where this is.
You have to remove the entire dash board to gain access to the heater core.
Infront of the passenger at the firewall
above the passengers feet
how do you remove the heater core and hoses from 1996 Chevy sub 5.7 K1500
The heater core may be clogged. You would need to take it out and clean it thoroughly. Other things to check are the thermstat
