While this behavior is not to be encouraged, most of the time there is no perceived effect from eating mouldy bread. Most of the mold one sees isn't particularly toxic. Mouldy bread poultices were in fact used by quite a few anceit cultures to treat wounds, presumably utilizing the antibiotic properties of the Penicillium sp. mold, which is endemic and often grows on bread. Possible adverse reactions include anaphylatics or allergic reactions and, in very rare cases, mycotoxin poisoning.
The bread is more mouldy at the end of 10 days than it was at the beginning.
Hives are due to an allergy so unless you are allergic to the mould you won't get that, a rashy could be anything. More to the point, why would you eat mouldy bread?
