No you will not as far as I know I did this with mine in September and have had no problems so far!
AnswerTelling you that weve all changed batteries and not had problems is ok but it doesnt really help you. Heres some resons for your problem. Sometimes the codes can be lost. Everytime you press the button on the key fob it revolves the code and this can sometimes become out of sync with the car. Re-coding can only be done at the dealer. Also, why did you change battery? Did the fob not work? If so the Renault key fobs were prone to the solder that connects the buttons cracking. You can get the key fob tested by any decent garage, also the RAC carries testers. Hope this helpsIt will have to go to a garage with the correct equipment to have it reprogrammed, its not possible to do this at home.Hope this helps

i have been told my camshaft position sensor needs changing on my Renault scenic 2005 model a have brought one but don't know where it is to change it
Scenics suffered from leaking sunroof which damaged the reicever for the C/L and immob in the interior mirror. Chech to make sure its not full of water. Apart from that you are stuck with a very poor quality immobilizer from Renault. If its any conselation, there are loads of Renault drivers in same position. Hope this helps.
