What! are you thinking abut hunting coyotes! Yes you do have to have a licence. But no matter how much you pay you can't hunt in state or National parks. Or any park. Or in any ones back yard. And if you don't have a licence you can't even do so in your own back yard. And no hunting in the city if you do so you will go to prison. Also no matter how much money you pay you can't hunt for COYOTES in New Mexico. It's illegal. You can only hunt for deer and rabbits with a licence.
One last thing... hunting is bad. People are not ment to kill animals or eat meat.
If you can't kill a animal naked with your own claws and teeth and then start
eating it raw then you are a herbivore. The only reason humans can eat meat is because of there tools. And if you do not cook it, it will kill you.
Also animals have souls just like us. (yes fish do to) And they fill pain.
So... if your a hunter Think abut this, would you do this to your best Friend or your dog
Would you just shoot your kid or brother for food or fun?... Maybe NO.
Did you know that dog's and coyotes are completely related?
Yes! that means that its the same as if you where shooting your dog!
If people where ment to eat meet, they would have claws and very sharp teeth.
So, don't kill your dogs brother.
Anybody can improve this answer!! This person obviously has no clue. YES you can hunt Coyotes in New Mexico, and yes you must have a hunting license. Don't worry too much about their "souls," just think of the sheep you'll save.
You don't need a permit if you are a New Mexico resident. If you're a non resident I believe you do need a permit. And I also believe for any hunting done in New Mexico you need to get a habitat stamp, even for nongame species such as rabbits and coyotes.
