If you mean the Xbox 360, then yes you do. There is the old one antenna version that is hard to find now but is cheaper, and the two antenna model that is about a hundred bucks or so.
On the other hand if you mean the newest Xbox 360 Slim, they come with built in wi-fi so they don't need an adaptor to connect to the internet.
