Yes, I would highly recommend it. The supercharger uses a speical oil called, "Supercharger Oil." You can get this oil from GM, however it does cost around $8-$12 a bottle. The oil should be check every 3000 miles and changed out once it smells bad or looks dirty.
check your fuel filter.
In the manual it says to check and top off the supercharger oil every 30,000 miles. It is a good idea to change the oil in the S/C every 50,000 miles.
Have vehicle scanned to determine the problem
there is a button on the drivers door at the bottom check there
Check under the dashboard, to the left of the steering column.
Disconnect positive side of battery for at least 5 minutes, worked for my 2002 Pontiac Bonneville. Dealer wanted $50.00 can you say rip-off!
try www.autozone.com and check for vehicle specs.
If yours is like my 2000, check under the back seat.
Check the fan relay.
check ground wires under both doors
check and chang supercharger oil.
No switch. Check the relay for the fuel pump.
