That would depend on the height of the drain and how deep the sink is. As long as the drain is lower than the bottom of the sink, it should be fine.
Remove vent and drain plugs. Drain oil. Fill from bottom until the new gear oil comes out of top vent hole. Install drain plugs.

Drain or petcock should be a the lower of rear of radiator or remove lower radiator hose
To change the lower case lube, undo the drain located at the bottom of the case and drain fluid. Above the drain port approx 6" there is another port. Remove that plug as well. Once the case is drained refill it by forcing the fluid into the bottom port. When it starts to come out of the top port it is full. Install drain plugs and you are done. You have to fill from the bottom to avoid any air pockets.

Remove the lower rad hose and drain, the block itself has no supplied drain. You can also use the drain petcock on the radiator lower drivers side but it is prone to leaking after use.
