Yes, it can either lie flat, or stand on its side. Make sure you do not turn it while it is running with a disk inside because it scratches the disk into oblivion. (I've seen it happen and it's not pretty)

∙ 14y agoLeave the Xbox 360 in the horizontal position. If it is left vertically it will close up one end of the sides which can cause air circulation problems leading to overheating. Try and also to make sure that the xbox is left in an open area not a closed in self on an entertainment stand.
