Yes drain line from heaterbox contains ac evaporator as well is clogged up
What year is the Dakota and what is the make and model of the 1998 Dodge that the compressor came off of ????????
Its located on the passengers side on the firewall.................
Yes, you can, and the routing will remain unchanged except for the omission of the air conditioner pulley. If the belt turns out to be too long or short, simply obtain a belt of slightly longer or shorter length, as appropriate.
Depending on the year of the Dodge Dakota and the condition of the vehicle, you could pay a wide range for a used Dodge Dakota. Your cost could be from $600.00 all the way to $20,000.00.
evaporator drain tube plugged

If you mean leaking water in the car then the drain is probably stopped up.
You remove the compressor and replace the belt with one for a truck with out ac
It could.It could.
I also have a 2001 dodge dakota, and I had several problems with various electrical devices failing to work. My turn signals worked occasionally, as well as, the same with my air conditioner and radio/clock. I realized that I needed to change the ignition switch, and it fixed all of those problems. Maybe this could help.
Dodge Dakota was created in 1986.
It is a lot cheaper and takes a lot less time if you just change to whole unit.
