i lived in California for 8 years and drove a 1970 Monte Carlo with a 82 engine in it. i never had to smog it cause it BODY wasnt above 73
I need to have the smog on my car checked.
I thought the selling owner needs to smog vehicle before selling it- the new owner does not need to re-smog the car.
They all had Catalytic converters and evap-systems. Some had air pumps, some didn't. Look on the Emission label under the hood.
no anything below 76 is a no smog
Idklol
No laws against size. Smog is another thing. Your car must pass smog. I believe after it's 25 years old they quit checking it though so... However, if you mean "what can I put in there without killing myself." I'd stick to the big blocks. A 454 will go nicely in there and EVERYTHING you can possibly imagine is already available so, no worries.AnswerChevy makes a 502 small block crate motor. Awesome motor... and because its a Chevy small block, tons of performance parts are available... not that you'll need them.
vehicle was smogged last year and now notified to smog it again this year
No pre 76 so if you had a 75 or older only.
not at the present time
You need o get a smog certificate license first then apply for all the necessary permits
Most states have exemptions for classic cars from smog regulations since none of them were designed with modern regulations in mind. In California which is typically the most stringent for smog regulations, 1965 Mustangs are exempt from smog checks.
