gainin weight over a short amount of time is usually the cause of stretch marks. Use staight vitium E oil for Emu oil when they are just appearing to allow them not to appear later when they become white. Also running and excercising has worked for me to stop the appearance of them.
One way to get white marks out of black jeans is to dye them black again. You could also use a black marker or pen to color in the white marks. In the future you should wash black jean inside out so these marks are less likely to appear.
My mother used to tan religiously swearing it did... Honestly, she ended up looking sixty at 39. In my experience, no, it doesn't. My stretch marks don't tan. I end up with a bigger contrast. Very white stretch marks against dark skin, thus, more noticeable than had I just stayed pale. But that's just me.
No one can really give you a proper answer on this, because it basically depends on the individual. Some people report their stretch marks fading from pink/purple to white within months. Myself, some of my stretch marks took upto 2 years to fade. So, time will tell.
