Islam does not teach to kill non believers. As Muslims we arent allowed to kill any innocent people, at all. Islam teaches us to be peaceful and to forgive and forget. It isn't our right to hurt non believers in any way, we should treat them very nicely so that they can see the beauty of Islam.

- When prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) settled in Medina (or AlMadinah) there were Muslims, Jews, Christians, Atheists, polytheists .... The prophet issued the Medina declaration that assured equal human rights and citizenship to all people irrelevant to their faiths and including polytheists and atheists.
- Quran commands Muslims that if polytheists ask Muslims help and support, then help them and let them be secured and saved. Quran says "
And if any one of the polytheists seeks your protection, then grant him protection so that he may hear the words of Allah. Then deliver him to his place of safety. That is because they are a people who do not know."

Never Ever
Quran calls for peace and tolerance. However, Quran call Muslims to defend their homes, lands, and properties.
Quran says (meaning English translation):
"Tell them: "O people of the Book (Christians and Jews), let us come to an agreement on that which is common between us, that we worship no one but God, and make none His compeer, and that none of us take any others for lord apart from God." If they turn away you tell them: "Bear witness that we submit to Him." (3:64)
and says:
" Certainly among the people of the Book (Christians and Jews) are some who believe in God and in what has been revealed to you and had been revealed to them; and they bow in humility before God, and do not trade for paltry gain the signs of God. Their reward is verily with their Lord; and swift is the reckoning of God! (199)" (3:199)
and says:
"Do not argue with the people of the Book (Christians and Jews) unless in a fair way, apart from those who act wrongly, and say to them: "We believe what has been sent down to us, and we believe what has been sent down to you. Our God and your God is one, and to Him we submit." (29:46) and says:
"God does not forbid you from being kind and acting justly towards those who did not fight over faith with you, nor expelled you from your homes. God indeed loves those who are just. (8) He only forbids you from making friends with those who fought over faith with you and banished you from your homes, and aided in your exile. Whoever makes friends with them is a transgressor." (60, 8-9)

Islam never calls for killing non Muslims. It is the opposite. Islam calls for kind and peaceful treatment of non Muslims and calls for treating them with tolerance, forgiveness, and justice. It is mentioned explicitly in Quran that no compulsion in religion and that no Muslim has the right to force any non Muslim to be Muslim.
You may refer to history and check whether any non Muslim civilian was killed by Muslims in any of the countries under Muslim's control. You will be sure that the answer is never ever a Muslim is allowed to kill a non Muslims.
