My guess would be around 5 days, nonstop, on a cruise. That's not an exact estimate, since I've only been on a cruise ship once.

The best cruise line for anyone for Hawaii is Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL). They are the only cruise line with an American flagged vessel (the Pride of America). Therefore, they can sail the Hawaiian islands without having to make a port call in a foreign country. Other cruise lines either sail from the west coast of the U.S. and make a port call in Ensenada, Mexico, which means you will spend several days in a row at sea just getting to Hawaii. The other cruises that visit are repositioning cruises, such as when ships move out of Alaska at the end of the summer. In fact that is the only time Disney sails to Hawaii at all. NCL has a good kids program and the prices tend to be less expensive than the other lines which is good for the parents as well. The NCL Hawaii itinerary is 7 nights long, where all the others are at least 10 or more nights.
Yes, Disney Cruise does offer a Mediterranean cruise that is set to set sail in August. It is called the Disney Magic Mediterranean Cruise, and right now they are set to begin August 6.
