Does a 2003 ford focus have to be automatically bleed with a scan tool cause you just changed brake pads and roters and the brakes won't firm up and we bleed it 3 times and still won't build pressure?

Scan tool will tell you nothing. Check everywhere for leaks, if nothing is apparent then it sounds like a problem in the master cylinder.

i had alot of problems with my abs brakes so i took out all the brake light bulbs and disconected the battery then i pulled the 30 amp fuse under the hood that is for the abs brakes . then i reconnected the battery but the emergency brake on and started the van put it in drive and let the computer reboot otself there by, bypassing the abs all together after 1/2 hr turn car off replace the brake light bulbs remember the top light to and now your abs will not give you any more problems. make shure to have your brakes changed regularly the windstars are bad on brakes. allso have your roters cut with every new set of brakes rear drums as well bushmtn@yahoo.com
