I have looked into this and am of the opinion that the swing arms are exchangeable, especially when you consider that in the US models of the 400/450 series of these bikes, several different lengths of swin arms were used. However, there are a few things to consider. The CMX 450 uses 18 inch rim while the CM 400 uses a 16 wheel rim for the rear wheel. The build of the two swing arms is a bit different as there is a rectangular frame swing arm on the 450 while the shape of the 400 swing arm is round. The pivot bolt size is similar, 8 mm. In case the bolt length is not similar this is easily modified. Some Honda CM 400 owners have re-built the swing arms of their bikes, especially in the UK, as these parts are now rather hard to get except from E-bay. In case any modification is needed it is only slight.
A wiper arm on a 2001 Honda Civic is screwed on. To remove it unscrew the mounting hardware and take off the wiper arm.
Use a 14mm box wrench.
Where that arm is if you push the cable into that arm there should be a small slot that the actual cable will slid through
what i know you can't take that ball joint to upper control arm but if you buy the upper control arm the ball joint comes with it.
your local honda dealership. they will have the exact match you need. i went to an advance auto for lower control arm bushings, and they were more expensive then the dealership. and on top of that too small! so i now go to the dealership if i need OEM parts for my 1989 honda prelude
Resubmit question describing the problem. Question too broad. What is it doing? What is it not doing? Wiper arm? Wiper blade?
bad rear swing arm bushings on some you can tighten
They are quick and courteous. The price is fair. It does not cost an arm and a leg.
I have a 97 Honda accord that the wipers don't work, they only work when you hold down the mist conroller arm. It has the intermittent controls on the wipers also.
I've got the same year/model. They did not come with a passengers seat arm rest that year - not even as an option. You will have to search the after-market parts suppliers for availability, or do a search on one of the Honda CR-V owners sites.
you can slot the holes where the upper ball joint bolts to upper control arm.
You simply lift it up and tilt the wiper blade up from the arm. Good luck finding a replacement other than the Honda dealer.
