As of 28 July 2008, no, US citizens do not need a visa to visit the Dominican Republic. But always check with the Dominican Consulate or a reputable travel agent before your departure to confirm that policies have not changed.

∙ 11y agoThat depends on your nationality. If you are from United States or Canada you don´t need visa for going to DR. Just need a tourism card which is gotten on the arrival to the dominicans airports for about 20 dollars.
