You'll need a special tool (available at a parts store) to take off the filter. The tool releases the filter from the fuel line fittings. Sometimes it's easy to take off the filter and sometimes it difficult. Needle nose pliers won't work.
Did you replace the fuel filter too? Sometimes if you have a clogged fuel filter the fuel pump won't work as efficiently and it may even be the cause of the pump going bad.
Have you changed your fuel filter lately?
No. The filter will need to be replaced.
Any inline fuel filter will work.
Have you tried getting a new fuel filter? If the fuel filter is old enough sometimes it won't work or start even though it had just started.
A plugged fuel filter can cause the pump to fail prematurely due to it having to work harder to pump the fuel through.
Try a can of Seafoam Engine Tune. It will sometimes work wonders on clogged injectors. www.seafoamsales.com
no that is not necesary you only put a piece of rubber to prove it works before you put the filter. If this work then you put the filter
of coarse. All the filter does is its job filter the gas if its stalling the old filter could be stopped up. change it try that and see if it works. You shouldn't pump the gas its fuel injected your pump does all the work.
