Does a guy like you if he calls you pretty and then later on puts his arm around you and tries to get other people to notice how pretty you are and wants to them to remark on who is the prettiest?

Either he's in competition with you as far as looks go, or he's wanting closure from others to be sure you are the prettiest girl around. Hopefully he's just proud of you, but be wary of this. He should be happier about what is inside of you (gentleness, kindness, honesty, etc.) If he's more into having a good looking girl on his arm and show you off then this isn't healthy! He shouldn't put other people into a situation by asking them such a question. It's embarrassing for the person(s) he's asking and for you. "Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder." He may well care about you a lot, but if you're smart tell him to quit doing what he's doing and keep his remarks between the two of you.

He might just think your pretty and that's it. He may be married even and just want you to know he thinks you are pretty. Married men tell me this all the time and I do not let it go to my head. I think its a compliment. Plus I think married men just like to know they find other women still desirable, lets them know they are very much alive. Harmless flirting. STOP JUST GET A BOYFRIEND OR ARE YOU JUST TO LONELY?
