If the manual says put in premium fuel, in a turbo car, you MUST put in premium fuel. Your car has a detonation sensor, and it will know when you don't put high octane fuel in because the fuel/air mixture will prematurely detonate. This is VERY bad for your engine, but your computer will sense the detonation and pull back ignition timing to protect itself. This will result in poor performance and poor fuel efficiency-the computer will try to prevent detonation by throwing too much fuel into the cylinder as a means of self defense and by restricting the amount of "boost" the turbo is allowed to make.

Turbo cars MUST have high octane fuel unless they are tuned for low octane. Your vehicle's service manual will tell you what fuel to put in. My manual says I must run 91 octane, and in parts of New Mexico, I could only get 90 octane off the highway. My car ran like hell because of it....

What is difference between turbo non turbo engine?

As an engine turns it sucks air in, which draws fuel with it. In a turbo engine a fan (turbocharger) forces more air into the engine, which draws fuel with it. The more fuel and air that goes into the engine the more power is produced. A turbocharged engine can produce perhaps double the power that a non turbocharged engine produces.

How much power does a engine have in it?

Depends on engine size, how many cylinders, turbocharged or not, supercharged or not, fuel type used, etc. Please be more specific with the question.

How much horse power is in 1100cc snowmobile?

Not enough information. Is it turbocharged? Is it a piston engine? What type of fuel does it use? If you know its rate of fuel use and its efficiency you can find the power produced.

How does an intercooler help to increase power in a supercharged or turbocharged engine?

It cools the air so more will fit in the engine. More air means more fuel can be burnt to make more power.

What does it mean when an engine has a turbo charger?

A turbocharged engine is an engine that contains a forced induction device that allows more power to be produced relative to the engine's size and normal output power maximum. They are commonly used on trucks and construction crane equipment that must move or lift heavy loads of materials and cargo. Heavy loads require more power to maneuver so turbochargers are useful. For automotive fuel cells, turbochargers are also quite useful.
