The car will not operate well with out the egr valve but it can.
Disabling it depends on year make and model.
If it came with it on there it needs it.
A disabled person's vehicle can be repossessed just as any other person's vehicle can be repossessed. You must make all payments on your vehicle if you want to keep it.
There is no egr valve on that vehicle.
Need to know what engine it has.
Will not function as intended
There is no EGR valve on this generation of Corolla. This engine is equipped with VVT-i (variable valve timing with intelligence), that allows it to perform the function of EGR without the former EGR hardware.
Depends on the vehicle. They usually do not go bad. I know that some vehicles are pron to EGR problems, not the valve. The EGR port gets clogged, causing a vehicle to run poor. The port can be cleaned, I just had mind done on my 2000 Accord V6. The vehicle has not sputtered or had a bad start since.
In your purse
It means the vehicle will not start
the permit is for the disabled person, not the vehicle. you are allowed to use it for any vehicle you ride in or drive.
The vehicle manufacturer will quote a torque figure for the EGR valve but in practice most mechanics no not torque them.
EGR is the acronym for exhaust gas recirculation valve. This valve controls the pollutant level given off by the vehicle.
