It is a fake brake! If you are riding on a flat dry surface it works, but gets super hot. If you are riding on a hill or wet surface it just doesn't work. Wrote to MGP about this. They replied with a picture of the safety sticker which says the scooter should not be used in the wet or on hills. They also suggested I buy a new brake (which is the type they used before the flex brake).
My advice. Do not get MGP with a flex brake.
It sure does . Almost like a rod knock . But with a crack flex plate if you press and hold the brake pedel and step on the gas pedel just a little the noise goes away .. With a rod knock the noise gets louder and faster as you step on the gas..
just get fake ones that go over yewr lip because i have some fake ones and they look real
sounds like you need new taillight bulbs
It seems like there might be air in your brake system. You should try bleeding your brakes and filling it with fresh brake fluid.
Many cars use the same bulb for the brake and turn indicator. Seems like one is burnt out. Have someone step on the brake and see if one of the brake lights does not respond.
Could be worn or glazed brake pads. Can also be a defective master cylinder, bad proportioning valve, or a brake booster with a vacuum leak.
If you step on the brake pedal , yes
Step on the brake pedal? Not sure what you are asking.
Step on the brake and put the car in drive the brake will release

There's a switch on the brake pedal that when you step on it, it completes the circuit for lighting up the brake light.
