I don't know if I have a 4 cylinder or 6 cylinder for ford aerostar 1993. Can you let me know if ford aerostar has a 4 or 6 cylinder for this type of vehicle?
All my information tells me Ford stopped using the 4 cylinder engines for Aerostars in 1987 so you would have the 3.0 or 4.0 6 cylinder engine.

The fuse position for the power windows on a 1993 Aerostar is at the number 14 location. The fuse box for this fuse is located under the dash on the driver's side of the vehicle. It is to the left of the steering wheel.

I don't Know what type or how big you Aerostar is but I have a 95 3.0 v6 and it weighs 3370 lbs. I only know this because I got the weight during the annual inspection that's required by some states.

There is a cdoe programed in to the vans "brain" and it is telling you that there is something wrong. i have fixed this in a 1994 Aerostar. The dealer will know what to do from there.

don't know if it is corrosive , i would say not, that is it won't make metal rust, they make chlorinated and un chlorinated cleaner, if your talking about drum brake backing plates you should lube the areas where the shoe makes contact to plate, disc brakes should have the pins and or slides lubed and the back plate of pad lubed or anti squeak compound applied, keep any lube off friction surfaces
