No I do not know anyone who is sellinga 2004 or up Toyota Highlander or Toyota 4Runner for less than 15000.
go to a reputable auto parts or trailer supply store and purchase a trailer wiring loom that is specific for your vehicle. it is a unplug existing, plug in new ("t") loom affair. included in this loom is a "converter" for Toyota specific light systems. standard trailer system (2 bulb) Toyota (3 bulb). probably 30 to 40 unless you purchase at dealer. my Toyota was an '89 but I'm confident that this is the route to take.

Inbetween the engine and transmission, located in the bell housing. To access it, you will need to drop the drive shaft and pull the transmission out. The torque converter will come out with the transmission.
There is no recall for the Toyota 4runner transmission. Some Toyota's have had break problems that may have started the recall rumors on some Toyota products but, there is no recall for the Toyota 4runner transmission.
yes you should or have it rebuilt any contaminants from the torque converter went into the transmission..not unless you want to do it again soon
