I do not own that type of dog but I do know what you are smelling. Sometimes when a dog gets scared they may release a substance from their anal glands. A dogs anal glands hold toxins, every time a dog poops a bit of that liquid comes out. When dogs get a big scare they may release some anal gland liquid. It smells awful and looks brown and sometimes chunky. By the way, you should make sure that your vet always releases your dogs anal glands each time they go to the vet. If not the glands can harden like stones and, unless surgically removed they will kill the dog. So that is what you are smelling!
