Well let me share my experience with you on my 99 the intake manifold had a small crack in it , tore it down put new manifolds on it no problems since 150,000 miles later

They finally redesined the gaskets, the old ones were rubber and plastic, the plastic would crack and leak,the new design is metal and rubber.Make sure when ordering them that you ask for the new design, alot of the parts stores still try to weed out the old style gaskets. Is the leak in the rad core, the side tanks, the hoses, the heater hoses, at connections, etc, There is a temporary fix that i don't highly recommend but will work for small leaks. called rad stop leak you can get it at most auto stores.
