It does, but the better question would be that is it goodfor building lots of muscle? I wouldn't say so. Of course it has a ridiculously good protein to carbohydrates-, and protein to calories ratio, but that's pretty much the problem. When you are building muscle, you want to hit your calorie goals for the day. Since broccoli has 35 calories per 100 grams, it is a rather poor choice.

But, one thing I would want to mention is that broccoli is a great food for losing weight! It is filling, has the great ratios I talked about before and it has a lot of fiber and healthy antioxidants.
