No, never put diesel in a gasoline engine it will foul up the sparkplugs in your engine, clog it up, and make it smoke alot. Cold Diesel in a diesel engine isn't too good either because when diesel gets cold it gels up, that is why most diesel engines have a built in heater to warm up the engine and fuel before starting. Hope this helps

Why diesel car works better in snow than petrol car?

The only reasons I can think of regarding this is: A diesel car would/could possibly be better in snow is the fact that they are mostly a bit heavier than similar petrol cars. Heavier car mean better grip on the road/snow. Another aspect is the slower acceleration. This is preferable on a semi-slippery road. There are on the other hand other issues with diesel that makes it a worse choice with increasing cold. Diesel can actually go stiff when being exposed to low temperatures. This is a problem already at -20 degrees Celsius. The diesel providers (Shell/Statoil/Q8/BP and a lot of others) add stuff to the diesel so that it does not freeze but this is not done all year round. It is also a common problem to actually start up a freezing cold diezel car.

Which fuel is better-normal or premium for diesel car?

Are diesel cars better than hybrid cars?

No. Diesel cars are pollutive and the price of diesel is very expensive. many people do not like diesels at all because of the cost of fuel and the noise the car will make.

Which one is better to buy a petrol car or a diesel car?

There is no better. Each has plus and minus. Diesel has more torque (pulling power), will last longer, gets better mileage, but cost more to buy and maintain. Diesel fuel is also more costly. Petrol is cheaper to build, costs less to maintain, normally has more horsepower, and gasoline is cheaper than diesel. The decision on which to buy is much easier to make today due to how clean diesel engines are now.patrol cars are better than diesel ones if the use is very less.

Which is more powerfull a pectrol car or a diesel car?

Petrol cars rev higher so they are usually faster, but diesel cars have more torque so can pull heavy weights better. Top speed is better in a petrol, but because diesel cars have turbo charges, some are just as fast.
