No. Cream comes from milk which comes from cows (or sheep or goats). Eggs come from chickens and other poultry.
For texture and richness. ==== Ice cream does not contain egg yolks. Frozen custard contains egg yolks. It is smoother and richer than ice cream. Gelato (Italian ice cream) when made properly is much smoother and richer than either ice cream or frozen custard.
Despite its name, the egg cream contains neither eggs nor cream. The basic ingredients are milk, seltzer, and chocolate syrup.
Egg creams contain milk, soda water, and a little vanilla or chocolate syrup, whipped up so it has a foamy head. They do not contain eggs or cream.
Maybe! Some recipes call for vinegar as a degreaser for the egg whites and not all vinegars are gluten free. Make your own using only egg white and sugar, serve with whipped cream and fresh fruit for a gluten free desert the whole family will love.
The ratio of egg to cream in egg cream is normally 2 to 1 but varies. The actual ratio varies based on the recipe and the intended use for the egg cream.

In the UK, whipping cream is just a type of cream sold for whipping. (And actually, double cream works better for whipped cream toppings). Whipped cream is a type of fresh cream, in the sense that double cream, single cream, clotted cream etc... are all types of fresh cream. Whipped cream is not "the same as" fresh cream, it is a member of the "fresh cream" group. If a recipe just says "serve with fresh cream", it's best just to pick a type of cream that suits your needs (i.e pourable or non-pourable).
