I was told the song in the AT&T wireless commercial comes from the movie "Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory" with Gene WIlder. Actually, Lenny Spinella sang the song. But rest assured. Those who recognized Gene's voice were kind of on the money. Lenny is Gene's first cousin and they grew up together. Their voices sound a lot alike, but Lenny filled in for Gene on the recording date, as Gene was sick with the flu.
