No, Ichigo and Rukia are not a couple. Most fans assume that as Bleach is a Shonen (boys) manga, and not a Shojo (girls) manga, there will be no romance in the series and as any possible relationships haven't been mentioned by either Kubo Tite or official published works, there won't be pairings and couples and other romantic substances.

I looked on Wikipedia and it said that Tite Kubo never said anything about it. It also said that when they asked him the question, he never responded.Bleach is still running so we won't really know if they will end up together until the very end.

No, they are not a couple. They never became a couple. But he developed an attachment to her. However he didn't love her for her, he just loved her power.

There is no evidence in manga that Ulquiorra was only after Orihime's power. He brought her to HM because Aizen told him to, but he started coming to her room and talking to her on his own, without showing any further interest in her power. He was interested in the human heart and she fascinated him. At the end he found his own in her hand. Surely he had to feel for her to be able to find his heart in her hand. Hearts don't appear out of nothing.

That is Tite Kubo's decision, so no one can be certain what he will choose to do.

However, I doubt that he will because he risks turning away some fans that desperatly wish for Ichigo and Inoue to be together.

The most likely case is that he will choose to have Ichigo remain single, both to preserve the fan base and still retain the suspense. But once again, it is his decision and I can not read his mind or see into the future.

Lol the last answer was very true. Ichigo is closer to Rukia more than Orihime but he still has a hidden connection to Orihime. Still it comes back to the point that we don't decide.

AnswerThe risk of loosing fan if Tide Kudo put Rukia and Ichigo as a couple are not that great because there alote more fan by what i see over the net that want Rukia and Ichigo together. The Renji Rukia or Inoue Ichigo fan most of them will adapte to it. Also i believe that Tide Kudo made is choice because if you search Rukia and Ichigo on Google you will find a page from the manga not in English yet that there kiss each other and it does not look a fake. Plus there other picture that also look made by the author. Am not taking about the many fake made by fan AnswerTite Kubo made a promo of Rukia and Ichigo kissing to see how fans react to it.

next, as you know in bleach movies usually ichigo is with rukia, fade to black showed ichigo hugging rukia, and in hell chapter he will save her again. In manga many quotes show that they are very important to each other.

such as "that's the kind of man i know in my heart" -from rukia around chapter 190. Or how ichigo always says "rukia saved my life and my family, and she changed my life. If she didn't do what she did, I wouldn't be here today." Also having let say orihime and Ichigo as a couple would seem boring. I wouldn't think it would have comical fights with orihime and ichigo like bleach had with rukia and ichigo. Anime with just lovey-dovey stuff would be boring, there should be humor that goes with it.

i don't refer to anime if ever there's a confirmed romance for both of them... I'm going to refer to manga if ever that happens... if it happens only in anime i will not count that as part of bleach...
