Yes the Kawasaki KLR 250 has a battery albeit almost as small as a 6 volt battery we all played with in 5th grade science class. The 2002 model uses a 12 volt, 4 AH. FBL4L-A It'll cost you about 30-40 dollars. Jim Bunce
No, my 2005 KLR 250 does NOT need a battery to run. I run mine without one all the time. I do have a battery eliminator installed though. It is essentially a large capacitor that keeps the charging system from running at full capacity and burning itself up. I ran the bike for a long time with a completely dead battery and it ran fine. Now that takes care of the question of "Does it have to have one", now legally the DOT requires you to have lights that will stay illuminated if the engine stops. The only way you can meet that requirement is to have a decent charged battery installed.

how do you charge a vespa battery
No
kowasaki loose racer if its a bike
Kawasaki lightweight roadworthy
You simply divide the MAH of your battery the MAH of your charger. For example my battery is 1500 MAH and my charger is 250 MAH. 1500/250=6 which means I have to charge my battery for six hours.

The windshield washer pump on a 99 F-250 is under the battery. The battery has to be removed to see the pump.
