A six pack are just the muscles that are located in your abdominal area. By getting a six pack, you are in essesnce getting rid of the fat that is covering your six pack (i.e. love handles) and once you eliminate the fat, you will be able to see the six pack. So yes, in order to get a six pack, you will have to work off the love handles
Depends on the person. It depends on how close you are on, what your diet is like, if your doing any other excersises, what is the frequency you are doing them, how many are you doing. Impossible to say without more information. But let's say you were a 100% average Joe. Then NO they would most likely not. They may help build up your stomach muscles but the layer of fat sitting on-top of your stomach muscles would cloud them from ever being seen. Along with this, since you only used one excersie, it does not give maximum results. I, for example, use 3 Core Workout excersises(Sit-ups, the Plank, and the Air Bike) and i'm still trying to expand. Different excersises work at your muscles in different ways, so a mix is most efficient.
But let's say you were very close, the layer of fat was little to none, your diet was decent, and you did quite a few of them. Then yes they might just push you over teh top to abs. But for someone who has some distance to cover, just sit-ups will give very slow results and little results.
Yes it helps, but to get best results you should combine cardio+weights+healthy low fat diet.
Yes, but it takes a rather lengthy amount of time. You have to already have a six pack though. All that really happens is that the bench amplifies the pack, it can't really make it appear.
i did 50 situps before i went to bed and in a week i had a six pack
There are a lot of abs exercise that give you a six pack. One good excerise is the bicycle situps.
situps and pushups are best
You could do 0 and still get a 6 pack. Seriously. 6 packs are not made by excessive repetitions of situps, they are made by losing the body fat behind your already existent abdominal muscles. Therefore, a 6 pack is made by having a good diet and workout which burns fat. You can get a 6 pack without having to do a single sit up as long as you include weightlifting and cardiovascular activities in to your healthy dieted lifestyle.
you won't get a 6 pack doing situps try doing crunches, start doing about 10 to 20 then move upto 100 or even 1000 when you feel you can do it. you should see a real difference in about 3 or 4 months.
Situps are the best for lower abdomen excersise
having a six pack is 90% your body fat and 10% muscle. First lower you body fat. Second of all, no one number is good for anyone, and I wouldn't recommend just doing sit ups. Try many different ab workouts and increase your regiment over time.
6 packs are made in the kitchen, not the gym, before you worry about specific core workouts for your 6 pack, worry about your diet, without a clean diet, that layer of fat will continue to cover your 6 pack no matter how many crunches you do. That being said, some very useful core exercises include: Weighted crunches (increase the resistance, not the repetitions of an exercise) Decline situps Bicycle kicks Dragon Flags (warning: a very advanced movement) Hanging Leg raises
Farm labor. Alternately, situps and crunches in varying positions. If you tend to be... not skinny, you may have to take measures to minimize that situation as well. Whatever the case, good nutrition is a must to develop muscle definition.
He didn't do situps, silly!
pushups,situps,jumping jacks,toilets,squats,plugens.
