This may or may not be bad for your health, and it almost definitely will not help you to lose weight. The only good time for a cold shower is when you're too hot.
You'd be better off altering your diet. Even if it's something as simple as changing your potion sizes to control eating habits. I find that 4 or 5 half-size meals a day keeps me going and helps stop snacking.
