To anyone who is interested: I have just completed a research investigation into mouthwash, and it's inhibitory effect on bacteria. One of the findings was that the alcohol-free mouthwash actually repeatedly had a greater inhibition zone than the mouthwashes containing alcohol. This study is in no way conclusive, but I figured it was better than no answer :]
There is nothing in mouthwash that will kill ants. The only way it would kill ants is if they would drowned in it.
If it is toxic maybe. But if it is nontoxic NO.
Not from going without sleep. The alcohol will eventually kill you, though.
to kill the bacteria i e pathogen
yes
are you holding it in your mouth? use mouthwash
If this happens you should contact the Poison Control Center, but most hand sanitizers only contain the active ingredient of ethyl alcohol which is "drinking" alcohol and will likely not kill an adult. Do not intentionally swallow it or, as some people have done, ... do not gargle with it ... instead use Listerine or another brand of mouthwash for that, it is also mostly alcohol but is made to be in the mouth instead of on skin.
One household product that can be used on the lawn is mouthwash. The gold mouthwash sprayed without diluting on the lawn will help control the mosquito population. Borax can be used on the lawn to kill ants. Cinnamon sprinkled on the lawn is also a good bug killer.
because there is so much alchol to kill the germs
Alcohol does not kill brain cells.
Sure, it will kill the germs, but not reinforce your enamel or anything like mouthwash does because there's no flouride in it. Plus it won't leave a very fresh, good smelling feeling.
I have the same question......... I think so if it has alcohol contents. But I'd like to know how much it needs to contain.... A entire bottle? Maybe two, or three? (You would die from drinking it obviously Help answer!!!! Add on to mine!
