Back in 1975 I asked this same question. I called the Nabisco headquarters and asked them about their anise cookies. I told them how much I loved them, and the man replied, "Oh, you're the one."

Keebler bought the Jingles brand of anise cookies in the 1990s.

There have been many companies licensed to bake Girl Scout cookies through the years, however, Nabisco is not one of them.

Currently there are two companies which are licensed to bake Girl Scout Cookies.

One is Little Brownie Bakers, a division of Keebler, which is owned by the Kellogg Company. The Keebler-Weyl Bakery became the first official baker of Girl Scout cookies in 1936 and is historically connected to Little Brownie Bakers.

The other one is ABC Bakers, a division of Interbake Foods, which became an official Girl Scout Cookie Baker in 1937.

So sad!  They were always on the top shelf in the store's.  Miss both types of Biscos; thin and deep waffles.  The frosting was amazing!
