If you are unsure of the remote wire, locate your radio fuse and get a fuse connector. hook it into the fuse and run it wherever you need it. all the remote does is swith the equipment on and off.
You either have to hit it with the Remote Electrical Discharge gadget, or if the fuse box is somehow blocked from that, then you need to throw a remote Batarang through an elecrical arc and pilot it into the fuse box.
hello i need to know what wires i need to hook up for my aftermart remote start in in 94 Chevy s-10 truck with a 2.2 motor
Unknown if you are referring to the keychain 'remote' or the vehicle switch. If the remote: Check the battery in the remote for need of replacement, if it still doesn't work, check the fuse for the auto locks in the vehicle fuse box. If the vehicle switch: check the auto lock fuse in the fuse box, if good then the switch itself is bad.
maybe you need a new battery in your remote control
you should elaborate a bit more on subject!! batery dead on remote? fuse blown on start module? hood safety switch grounding? module needs to be reset?
There is no battery in the starter.
One reason that your remote key will not unlock your Mazda 6 is that a fuse is blown. You may need to replace the batteries in the remote or reprogram the remote. A bad body control module is another reason the remote will not unlock the doors.
No you don't, when you install a remote start, it will come with a transponder for it, if you go to get it installed at a place like bestbuy it will come with a remote start transponder after they install it for you. Imad
No
antiteft will need to be disabled.
The remote wire requires a 12 volt power source that comes on with the car. The easiest thing to do is to wire it into the fuse box...coordinate with the diagram to find a fuse that comes on when you start the car or turn the key to accessory, such as turn signals, windshield wipers, etc.... Pull that fuse out, put the bare wire into where the fuse goes and secure it with the fuse.
