Canada because it is coloser to the north pole. and i learned it in social studies class.
There are different ways of measuring coastline, different opinions on where one ocean starts and another ends and different countries have different ideas about who owns what. Bearin all this in mind:

The USA has 1060 Statute miles of general Arctic coastline and 2521 of tidal shoreline.

According to National Centre for Arctic Aquatic Research Excellence (NCAARE), Canada's

Arctic coastline is in excess of 162,000 km - representing

twice as much coastline as the Atlantic and Pacific coasts combined.

Canada has responsibility for close to one fourth of the world's Arctic.

So it looks like no contest whichever way you choose to measure it.


Canada has much more land touching the Arctic Ocean than the US.
